Subie Invasion 2007 Vegas Recap

Flat4

Subie Invasion 2007 – Las Vegas, NV
Presented by EDO Performance / Zero Sports and Subaru of Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada – (November 7, 2007) — EDO Performance / Zero Sports, Subaru of Las Vegas, and Flat4LV are proud to announce the Fourth Annual Subie Invasion as a huge success. Subie Invasion was a weeklong experience for Subaru owners and enthusiast alike. There were events such as group drives, car shows and a party at the Treasure Island. We thank all of our sponsors, special guests and participants for attending all of the events as we promoted Subaru’s environmental and performance heritage. We would also like to give a special thanks to Mr. Ken Block (founder of DC Shoes and Subaru Rally Team USA driver) for his massive support.

The Subie Invasion Week kicked off Thursday night November 1st 2007 with a group Subaru meet at In-N-Out Burger. We liked to thank the founder of D1 Grand Prix, Tokyo Auto Salon, and Option magazine, Mr. Daijiro Inada as well as the Subaru and Zero Sports Time Attack, and GT driver Eiji “Tarzan” Yamada for being our special guests at the event. We would also like to thank the over two hundred Subaru’s and the over four hundred participants who joined us Thursday night. We then headed to the Tangerine Night Club at Treasure Island, which had an amazing turn out as well. The Subie Invasion Week’s Main Event, which was at Subaru of Las Vegas that included a thirty-five Subaru car show, all of our great sponsors and over two hundred supporters. This event was dedicated in the memory of Colin McRae MBE (1968-2007) (1995 World Rally Champion and ex-Subaru WRC driver). Subie Invasion will also be making a cash donation to the “Jerviswood Trust” which has been set up by the McRae family. We would like to once again thank all the sponsors, vendors and participants for this event. The final Invasion event this year was a group drive through the Valley of Fire, which included over forty Subaru’s all decked out in the special event rally style hood plates and numbers.

We are already looking foreword to seeing everyone next year, which will be even bigger. Don’t forget to visit the Official Subie Invasion 2007 website and stay tuned for more events at www.flat4invasion.com. There will be a photo and video gallery as well as detailed information about the events. SubieSport Magazine will also be covering all of the Subie invasion 2007 events in their February 2008 issue. Please take some time as well to visit all of our sponsors’ websites, also listed on the above website.
