PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Product Note

Because of the design and manufacturing processes used to create the improved clutch response and increased output provided by the sports clutch disc and lightweight flywheel, it is possible that the transmission or bearings may make a rumbling noise, particularly in comparison to genuine Nissan parts; however, this has no effect on quality or performance.
If not properly combined, the clutch and clutch cover will not provide the intended performance. Be sure to use a NISMO clutch disc and clutch cover as a set.
No mechanical processing of flywheel or transmission is required.
Please make sure that there is no mechanical processing or alteration of flywheel or transmission needed; the product may not be useable on some previously modified or altered vehicles.
Apart from those vehicles previously noted, the bearings and sleeves already in use on the vehicle can be used; however, it is suggested that these be exchanged for new units.
When replacing the clutch, make sure that there is no abrasion, wear or weakening of the release fork, release pivot, operating cylinder and pilot bushing. For high-mileage vehicles, it is suggested that these be replaced.
When there are scratches, excessive wear or heat deformation of the clutch disc, clutch cover or friction side of the flywheel, these should be replaced.
Because the force needed to operate the clutch pedal will be greater in a reinforced clutch than a standard one, practice in clutch-meet is required.
Cermet clutch discs may make a metallic, shuddering or howling sound.
The use of a reinforced clutch results in higher cover pressure and required clutch pedal force; depending on use the clutch pedal, pedal bracket and release fork may become bent, and the operating cylinder lifespan may be reduced.
The use of a reinforced clutch results in higher torque transmission capacity; depending on use the transmission and differential may become damaged or have reduced lifespan.
After installation, be sure to adjust the clutch pedal stroke in accordance with the service instructions.
