Defi Super Sport Cluster Update

Defi Super Sports Cluster Vol. II

DSSC is a professional grade combination meter with data logging for race cars. Some of the same special features that have been offered under existing Defi products will be utilized in the DSSC. In addition, the DSSC will offer some functions and features exclusive from existing Defi products, such as turn signals and fuel meter. The DSSC allows for the collection of performance data and automobile status.

DSSC List of Functions and Features:
Functions and features that are offered with existing Defi products and featured in the DSSC:

Speed
Engine revolutions / RPM
Turbo / Intake manifold pressure
Oil pressure
Water temperature
Oil temperature
Exhaust temperature
Fuel pressure
Warning

Master warning: Indicator will blink when any of linked meters reaches warning point.
Differential pressure: Initial fuel pressure shows on fuel indicator by differentiating between fuel pressure and turbo when turbo sensor and fuel sensor are connected.
Data log and playback: Data is logged directly into the control unit, up to 3 minutes of recording time.
Control-out unit: This is the same as the one featured in the Defi Heads Up Display VSD CONCEPT. When it reaches setting range, the external control output turns on, activating linked components such as nitrous solenoid valve, electric fan, and water spray.

Functions and Features That is Exclusive to the DSSC:

Thermometer 1 and Thermometer 2 (*1): In addition to water temperature and oil temperature, two more liquid temperatures can be displayed, such as mission oil temperature (Temperature range: 0 ~ 150 Celsius).
Each meter has a built-in STS attached to the base of the indicator needle.
Odometer and Trip meter.
Fuel meter: It will indicate remaining fuel in division of ten parts. The warning signal can be programmed for remaining fuel.
Throttle angle (*2): This is the ratio of throttle opening angle, which shows how much acceleration is given.
G / Velocity (*1 & *2): Driving behavior is analyzed by G direction and the force of two axles.
Pedal stroke (*1 & *2): Pedal stroke is the travel distance of pedals. By analyzing the distance between brake pedal and body, it shows how much force is applied to the brake pedal.
Rudder angle (*1 & *2): It shows how much force is applied to turning a wheel.
Lap (*1): Lap indicates how much time it takes to complete a lap. This allows the user to record circuit lap time with magnetic sensors manually. P-LAPII, optional and sold separately, allows lap time to be measured automatically.
Speed / Cylinder settings: Speed / cylinder settings display driving speed based on speed signal in sine waves, a feature existing Defi products could not read. DSSC is compatible for a number of car models through a wider range of cylinder settings, made available by a use of two separate cylinder settings.
